I work with non-fiction authors as a marketing strategist and assistant to support them before, during, and after their books are published.

Writing a book is no small task, let alone getting it published AND getting it into the hands of the perfect readers. Because of that, I work with authors six to eight months before their book will be released to support with anything and everything including: marketing strategy, landscape analysis, event production, network management, newsletter strategy, content creation, and more. I tailor my services to the needs of each client to work as a liaison between author, publishing team, and publicist.

How We Can Work Together

Author Marketing Strategy

Work together to brainstorm and develop a marketing strategy for the campaign to get your writing into the hands of the perfect readers. I work alongside you to help dream up the perfect launch campaign and ongoing marketing strategy for your platform.

Project Management

Organize any existing systems you have or create a new hub for all things in your business/book ecosystem to work as a base for the author, publicist, and publishing team. We will meet regularly to stay on top of deadlines and stay organized through the multiple projects as a book campaign inevitably contains.

Website and Design

I can make any necessary updates to your website, as needed, and design general graphics, PDFs, and/or email campaigns to support the marketing campaign.

Event Production

Support in the planning and execution of a book tour, if desired, and any pre-launch event opportunities.

Author Brand Platform & Content

Work together to develop social media strategy with clear pillars as the foundation for your author brand. This includes support developing or refining your newsletter strategy and social media channels. I will help you get organized with a content calendar and support in the content creation, if needed.

  • Certainly! I’d love to hear more about you, your book, and your vision for book launch. While I have the most experience with non-fiction authors, I am always open to working with different types of writers and artists.

  • Most of my clients have gone down the route of traditional publishing but I am excited to work with authors who have done something different. I would love to hear what your vision is for your book, your career as a writer, and how you could envision me supporting you.

  • I am not a publicist, and while I can pitch to publications and podcasts for you, that is not my specialty. Depending on your budget, I suggest building out your book team to include someone to specifically focus on PR. Please email me if you’d like any recommendations.
